I have to say, that the often mentioned "excessive sexual scenes" from ON THE OLD ROMAN ROAD were dictated from film by it-self: from Kadjarian story and history and from the episode about the Turkish agent in Rotterdam, as director I have just to serve the film as true as I can. And it's not always true, that the decision is only by director or by someone else.
