A young man has been convicted incidentally and unjustly, only for the court "to close the file". He gets in terrible, destructive world with its original law, where, in direct sense, one can sell his own sister for rescuing his own skin... To get out from this vicious circle, "to escape from himself",- as one of guard has told, - practically becomes impossible... He was magnanimously allowed to run by the closed circle of the neutral zone, it seems, that freedom is out there, he already breathes "the sweet" air of Freedom, he's almost free... But furious sentry dogs catch him up... Nothing more... And no one shot... One ceases to breathe. And nothing else... And the ugly symbol of our dream: Freedom is above all this. The film is about complete moral destruction in colonies and "zones" of Soviet times.

Commercial success of the film exceed all expectations. All the tickets were sold a long time before. More than one million people watched this film during the first month (a great quantity for Armenia)... The broadcasting on national TV has made furor... The film has won a prize "For Best Film-making" on the international Film-Festival in Batumi.
