Screening
of the W. German Film 'Komitas' The film was directed by Don Askarian, a native of Karabagh. In
the past decade one of the biggest concerns of the Armenian Diaspora has
been to impel the world to recognition
of the
1915
Armenian Genocide, and this film is a vivid evocation of that tragic
period. Komitas
was awarded the Interfilm prize at this year’s Max-Ophils-Preis
